Kontakt we wszystkich sprawach dotyczących danych: contact@lobbymates.com.

§2Jakie dane przetwarzamy

Dane z FACEIT.

Z tych danych powstają publiczne strony ESEA: rankingi graczy i drużyn, strony drużyn i graczy, porównania, rekordy sezonu i transfery (zmiany drużyn wyliczone z tego, w której drużynie gracz grał mecze).

Zawodowcy z Liquipedii. Dla zawodowców, streamerów i komentatorów pobieramy z Liquipedii (licencja CC BY-SA) pseudonim, drużynę, status i linki do ich publicznych profili (np. Twitch, X, YouTube).

Podsumowania i grafiki.

Żeby pokazać najlepszych graczy z Twojego regionu FACEIT (Europa, Ameryka Północna, Ameryka Południowa, Azja Południowo-Wschodnia, Oceania), strona odczytuje w przeglądarce strefę czasową urządzenia i wysyła do serwera tylko skrót regionu (np.

Zamiast adresu IP zapisuje tylko 16-znakowy skrót z adresu IP i typu przeglądarki, liczony z losową solą, którą codziennie zmieniamy i kasujemy.

Kopie zapasowe i dziennik błędów.

Statystyki odwiedzin (Google Analytics).

Aplikacja mobilna i powiadomienia. Treść powiadomień to nicki graczy z Twojej ekipy, mapa, wynik, zmiana ELO i statystyki meczu, a dla drużyn ESEA: przypomnienie przed meczem, start i wynik z mapami.

6 ust.

6 ust. 1 lit. a RODO i art. 399 Prawa komunikacji elektronicznej). Zgodę możesz w każdej chwili wycofać linkiem „Ustawienia cookies” w stopce strony. Wtedy usuwamy pliki _ga z Twojej przeglądarki, a Google Analytics wraca do anonimowych sygnałów bez plików cookie.

Każdy, kto zna link do ekipy, widzi jej panel, profile graczy i mecze.

EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Dane ESEA przechowujemy, dopóki serwis działa, a pokazujemy bieżący sezon i cztery poprzednie.

§6Twoje prawa

Masz prawo do dostępu do swoich danych, ich sprostowania, usunięcia i ograniczenia przetwarzania oraz prawo sprzeciwu wobec przetwarzania (art. 15 do 21 RODO).

Możesz też złożyć skargę do Prezesa Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych (ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa, uodo.gov.pl).

§7Zmiany

§1Who is responsible

The data controller is a private individual who runs LobbyMates (lobbymates.com) non-commercially and without making money from it.

§2What data we process

FACEIT data. When someone adds a nickname to a squad, the server fetches that player's data from the public FACEIT API: ID, nickname, avatar, country, level and ELO, ELO history, CS2 matches and their stats, and whether the player is in a match right now. Match scoreboards also contain nicknames, avatars and stats of the other players in those matches, since that's what a FACEIT match looks like. The section with pros met in lobbies uses them too.

ESEA league. The server fetches ESEA league matches from the public FACEIT API for the current season and the four previous ones: teams (name, including former names, logo, division, region), rosters, and the nicknames, avatars, countries and stats of players in those matches, plus the schedule of upcoming matches. This data powers the public ESEA pages: player and team rankings, team and player pages, comparisons, season records and transfers (team changes worked out from which team a player played matches for).

Pros from Liquipedia. For pros, streamers and casters we take from Liquipedia (CC BY-SA licence) their handle, team, status and links to their public profiles (e.g. Twitch, X, YouTube). We match them to a FACEIT account through the FACEIT ID listed on Liquipedia, to mark them in lobbies.

Summaries and images. From the stats we already have, the site builds a player's year summary (Wrapped, at /wrapped/NICK) and draws link preview images and record images. Link preview images stay on the server for at most 2 days, then they are drawn again.

Squad data. The squad name and player list someone entered when creating it, the random squad ID in the link and a hash of the edit key. Only the person with the edit link knows the key itself; the server doesn't store it.

Browser storage. The site stores on your device (localStorage) your theme (em_theme), language (em_lang) the squad for the phone widget (em_gid), your list of squads (lm_squads), edit keys for your squads (lm_keys), app notification settings (lm_push), followed ESEA teams (lm_esea) and your cookie choice (lm_consent). Only what's needed is sent to the server: the edit key when you change a squad and your notification settings. Clear the site's data in your browser to remove them.

Regional top players on the home page. To show the best players from your FACEIT region (Europe, North America, South America, Southeast Asia, Oceania), the site reads your device time zone in the browser and sends only a region code (e.g. NA) to the server. If the server runs behind Cloudflare, the region may also come from the country Cloudflare assigns to the connection. We do not store the time zone, the country or your IP address for this.

Cookie-free visit counters. Separately from Google Analytics, the server counts page views and unique visitors of the site, squads, profiles and the extension. Instead of your IP address it only stores a 16-character hash of the IP address and browser type, made with a random salt that we change and delete every day. The hash can't be turned back into an IP address or used to recognise the same person the next day. Hashes are deleted after 120 days. Search engine bots aren't counted.

FACEIT notifications (webhooks). FACEIT may send the server notices about matches of squad players (match found, started, finished, cancelled): the match ID and the list of players in the lobby. We only keep events about squad players and delete the event log after 7 days.

Backups and error log. Once a day the server makes a database backup, kept on the same server for 7 days so squads can be restored after a failure. The technical error log (no IP addresses) is deleted after 7 days.

Server logs. Like any web server, the hosting company keeps technical logs: IP address, time, page address and browser type. They're used for security and fixing errors and kept for as long as the host defines.

Visit statistics (Google Analytics). If you click “Accept” in the cookie notice, the site loads Google Analytics 4. Google then sets the _ga and _ga_* cookies (up to 2 years) and collects things like the pages you visit, visit length, approximate location (city or country, Google doesn't store the full IP address), device and browser type and the page you came from. With consent we also send aggregate events about feature use, such as downloading an image, tapping “Follow” or searching ESEA, without the search text and without nicknames. We only see aggregate numbers. Google's advertising and personalisation signals are turned off. Without consent Google Analytics sets no cookies and gives you no identifier. It then only sends anonymous page view signals (page address, time, browser type, the fact that consent was refused), which Google uses to estimate total visits. Google sees your IP address in the process, as it does with the fonts.

Mobile app and notifications. If you turn on notifications in the LobbyMates app for iOS or Android, the server stores a random phone identifier, a notification token from Apple (APNs) or Google (Firebase Cloud Messaging), the system type, language, the kinds of notifications you picked and the squads and ESEA teams you want notifications about. On iPhone we also store a Live Activity token, which lets the match score show on the lock screen. Notifications contain the nicknames of your squad members, the map, the score, the ELO change and match stats, and for ESEA teams: a reminder before the match, the start and the result with maps. The score card image sits on the server under a random address and is deleted after 3 days. You can remove all of this with the “Turn off on this phone” button in the notification settings or by uninstalling the app.

Followed ESEA teams. The “Follow” button on a team page saves it only in your browser (lm_esea). To show their matches on the home page and the ESEA tab, your browser sends just the IDs of those teams to the server. We don't link them to you or record who follows what (except the app with notifications turned on, described above).

What we don't collect. There's no sign-up or login, we don't ask for an email or password, we don't show ads and we don't use advertising cookies.

§3Why and on what legal basis

The data is used only to show squad stats: ELO charts, duos, records and live match status. The legal basis is legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): presenting data players have made public on FACEIT to the people who asked for it by creating a squad.

Player data doesn't come from the players directly. Its source is the public FACEIT API (faceit.com).

Google Analytics only runs with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and the ePrivacy rules). You can withdraw it at any time with the “Cookie settings” link in the site footer. We then remove the _ga cookies from your browser and Google Analytics goes back to anonymous signals without cookies. Withdrawing consent doesn't affect what was collected before.

§4Who has access

Anyone who knows a squad's link can see its dashboard, player profiles and matches. The link isn't password protected, so only share it with people you want to. Only someone with the separate edit link, which the squad's creator gets, can change the lineup.

Every player whose data is on the service also has a public profile at /player/NICK with their FACEIT stats (ELO, matches, maps, teammates). These profiles may be indexed by search engines such as Google. At the player's request we hide the profile and remove it from search engines.

The ESEA pages (rankings, teams, players, records, transfers) are public and may be indexed, as they show league results that FACEIT publishes. At a player's request we also hide their ESEA page.

Data also reaches the providers the site can't work without: the hosting company (server and database), Google (the Schibsted Grotesk font from Google Fonts, Google sees your IP address when it's loaded, and Google Analytics if you agree to it, see policies.google.com/privacy) and Discord, if the bot that renames a channel to the live score is running (it only receives text with nicknames and the score). App notifications are delivered by Apple (Apple Push Notification service) to iPhones and by Google (Firebase Cloud Messaging) to Android phones: they receive the phone token and the notification text.

Google, Apple and Discord may process data outside the European Economic Area under their own safeguards, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. We don't sell or share data with anyone else.

§5How long

A player's data stays in the database as long as they're in a squad and is regularly overwritten with fresh FACEIT data. Squad data is kept while the service runs or until you ask for it to be deleted. We keep ESEA data while the service runs and show the current season and the four previous ones. Google Analytics data is deleted automatically after 14 months. Visit counter hashes are deleted after 120 days, database backups after 7 days and the webhook and error logs after 7 days.

§6Your rights

You have the right to access, correct and delete your data, to restrict its processing and to object to it (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR). The simplest way: email contact@lobbymates.com with your FACEIT nickname and we'll remove you from every squad and from the database (and from backups once they expire, at most 7 days later). Wrong data in the profile itself is fixed on FACEIT, since that's where we get it from.

You can also lodge a complaint with the Polish data protection authority, Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych (ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa, uodo.gov.pl), or the authority in your country.

§7Changes

If what the site does with data changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
